It isn’t easy being an empath. Us, sensitive, extra-sensory folk find it difficult to set healthy boundaries and stay rooted in our own energy. We have the (bad) habit of taking on other people’s energies and emotions, and this ‘pollutes’ our own energy and can make us unwell.
Many natural born empaths and intuitives have chronic health problems, like digestive issues, back problems, headaches, low energy, hormonal problems and depression, because they don’t know how to set healthy energetic boundaries.
When you’re an intuitive, you’re naturally empathetic and know how other people are feeling. You can tap into a person’s energy and quickly get a sense of them and what is ailing them.
This is a wonderful gift if you use it right, but when you’re unconsciously tapping into people’s energy and don’t know you’re doing it, you’re ‘overloading’ your energy field. This lowers your immune response and adrenal function, and makes you stressed, tired and drained.
